JonD
I went a little further north, still had green water in close but 26'c cobalt blue out further. So many pelagic's in the blue water we had to drop down to tolling just two rods, even then it was pretty much a case of as soon as the boat was put into gear we had double hookups. rickmarlin62 I did the further trip to Wooli (from Narooma) which was well worth it even if we did have to smash through white water in the bar each day. crusher87
Yeah we got a 20-25kg wahoo, dropped 2 decent Spanish at the boat, got a fair few decent kings around fish rock, 2 cobia, got heaps of mac tuna, 2 spotties trolling the current line in the bay after the southerly. It was pretty hard going with that water. Went to the fad once and it was dead. Really needed those southerlies to blow to clean it up. Also live baited small mac tuna and put them down around 20 metres on the downrigger and got smoked by a lot of big fish and hooked a few monster sharks we couldn't get up but fought to try and get out gear back for ages.
