Wellzy94
Headed up early Saturday morning for the weekend at Wyangala Dam. Cassie and I got the kayak out on the water with 2 rods each, and started paddling around, trolling divers off the back and stopping in spots to throw spinner baits around with no success. Some mates also on the water caught a few, with 2 cod going just legal (and fat - 2.5kg!) Sunday we caught a spot on a boat.. We were too buggered to get the yak out again. Same plan, trolling lures - for nothing. Spent the last couple hours of the afternoon banked on the shore fishing for carp, for 1 fish between the three of us on board. Pretty slow weekend for fishing, but we were graced with good weather on the water! Still as of yet to christen the yak though. Cheers, Wellzy
Scratchie
Ouch!!! Oh well, at least you were out and about giving it a go! Fresh water fishing is certainly different to the salt. A lot more patience needed! You'll get em next time! Cheers scratchie!!!

big Neil
Bad luck Wellzy and Cassie. I can speak with experience when I say that sometimes you just have to accept that it'll be better next time. Cheers mate. BN

Wellzy94
It was certainly more enjoyable than sitting at home. Only downside is all the built-up housework! Spot on BN, fingers crossed for a better result next time. Cheers, Wellzy
