campr
Late report on my last two outings. Went to Jerusalem Bay 2 weeks ago to try for hairtail. Put out a huge live mullet on hope of getting a jewfish only to have it taken by a 78cm flathead. Quite funny really as I specialise in catching large flatties and went to try for something different. No other boats fishing there for hairies and we didn't get any other bites at all. About 15 boats fishing in Waratah Bay makes me think I made wrong choice of spots on the night. Went to Hacking to try for squid on Wednesday for very little return with only one exceptionally large one caught. Partially saved the day with a lovely big trevally 2.2kg and 570mm long. Put up a good fight on 2kg pretest line and took me about 20 mins to land.

Adsy91
That's one solid Trev mate well done ? Massively under rated sport fish in my opinion, they go like the clappers
