Sydney Kings - Wednesday 23rd Aug

Hi Raiders, went out to the Artificial super early (4am) stopping off to get Yakkas / Slimeys, but only XOS supersize, none of the "Kingy Candy" size and heaps of little leatherjacket. I then headed back to shore and went off the lighthouse and caught 4 over 70cms, but lots of rats mixed in - (good fun though). I didn't see any schools of salmon or tailor that are supposed to be around in the harbour at present.

Nice catch wish I had the gear to go outside. re salmon was in the middle of a massive bust up between quarantine and tanya park Thursday lunchtime  southerly was howling and fast cats were dodging me ( drifting at 8 knots) but could not get a hook up tried halco twisty 12gm,  rapala x rap c9, and a small grub for no luck but the wind made it almost impossible in my 4.3 runabout. Still was fun and part of my learning curve.
