This is not an attempt to piss you or anyone else off, but I am wondering why after such a great haul in the Hawkesbury did you want to try the Georges? I only ask because if I'm onto something good I stick to it.

P.S. that female was one huuuuge crab!

Georges River is the river I always crab its just that going to the Hawkesbury is a big trip for me and costs allot of money.

with that catch in the hbury you could a sold the crabs and made enuf to live on for a month don't worry about the distance with that sorta return...

Only once in the Hawkesbury but never in the georges river. It also depends on where you crab. The further down river the more chance of getting blue swimmers.

Nice going there mud-crabbin. Should take a photo with a tape measue and go for a record.
