NZ kingfish charter advice

Hi guys, my mate is going to NZ end of the year  with his family and wants me to  join him once his family flies back so that we can book a few  kingy charters  but the issue is i don't  know of any  that  are worth going with other than the big names.Just wondering if anyone  had any info or recommendations.

I went with one of the "big names" out of Whittianga.

loved it.

got a king over 20kg and heaps around the 10-15kg mark, jigging the depths and slow trolling livies around the islands and coastline. (Big one came from just 16mtrs water)

not cheap but i guess they get big names through good works.

if you want the name let me know and il pm you details.

guide went out on his day off to get some crayfish and when we got back from pub there was 2 sitting at our doorstep which was cool.

the captain went above and beyond our expectations. (He wants clients to ask for him specifically upon next trip, which we will be doing, so really gives it everything to make the trip)
