Cordless wet & dry vacuum cleaners

Does anyone here own a cordless wet & dry vacuum cleaner for cleaning your boat?

My boat has a number of points inside that don't drain out, specifically the main floor area. Which means if I'm driving into heavy chop and getting wet I often end up with a puddle on the floor and no easy way to get rid of it.

I currently use an old towel to soak it up and wring it out, but there's gotta be a better way. Now I'm eyeing off cordless vacuum cleaners that I could potentially keep in the car and pull out to suck up all excess water in the boat as I'm washing it down at the ramp..

Looking at Milwaukee and De Walt ones for around the $200 - $300 mark.

Anyone have prior experience with these for this purpose?

I’ve used two corded wet vacs. the first  a cheapie “Click” that sat on a 20l bucket. Can’t get those anymore but it worked fine. The current one is an Ozito I think. My son uses it. Works fine but they are pretty big to carry around in the car.

i assume you are talking about a small hand held one. See if Ryobi do one. I never have a problem with their stuff.

Unless you own other dewalt kit you might already have those.
