GoingFishing
Gday Raiders Just looking for some feedback from those who know the go about storm gomoku rods. Today i found the Storm Gomoku GOS601M jigging rod on sale for $99 and paired it up with an Abu Garcia Revo ALX5000H which was also on sale for $140. RRP of both items should be (according to RRP online) in the order of circa $400 but i paid $240 so couldnt say no to such an enormous bargain.. Iv never fished with gomoku fishing rods and wondering if the 5000 is too big...there was a nice 4000 size penn conflict but it wasnt on sale and besides i liked the smoother drag on the garcia. Whats everyones thoughts?
recurve
I have been fishing with the Blue Gomoku for a few years. Pair it with a Stradic 5000FK. I mainly use it to jig plastics for Kings and Salmon. Handles 65cm - 75cm with no problems. Any bigger I struggle to stop them. 5000 in a Shimano size is a good match. Not sure about the other brands. They are really powerful rods and you can put a lot of pressure on a fish with them.
