TheMadFisho
Hi Everyone, just wanted to know what you do to your Squid jigs after a big day out on the water?
nutsaboutfishing
Normally just give them a rinse in fresh water

anthman
Like all my non soft plastic lures (i.e. hardbodies, metals, squid jigs), after a session I run them under warm-hot water in a little Tupperware container and give it a shake. Pour out. Fill and rinse one more time, then let them dry in the sun for a little bit before packing away. I believe the warm-hot water helps loosen up any dried salt deposits and the rigorous shaking in the container helps submerge and get water in all the nooks and crannies. Becareful with squid jigs as hooks from other lures will get caught in the fabric of the squid jig and the shaking will damage/stretch - so rinse them separately. I keep a small bucket on the boat with holes drilled in the bottom. All hooks, jigs and lures got into it after using. At the end of the day they are rinsed with fresh water in the bucket and then laid out to dry.
BuckWild
Not exactly squid jigs but I clean all my hardbodies at the same time I do the dishes. I use an old toothbrush to scrub away any built up gunk
