JonD
Did a quick drive up north to drop a boat off at a mates place on the Daintree last week. Seemed to miss most of the bad weather taking the inland road, though two days of 47'c without aircon was pretty sticky. Didnt get to fish as the owner had forgotten to pack his tackle box in the boat before the drive up and all the shops were closed expecting the cyclone to hit. Bought a GoPro 7 before heading up which was a good opportunity to test out. The GoPro gets a highly commended from me, loved using this little thing and the fact I can simply tell it via voice command what to do is fun. At the last moment my youngest daughter decided to tag along in the hope of finding a few snakes ( which she managed ). Next time I will take some gear to have a fish. All images from the GoPro but reduced in quality for uploading.

JonD
I'm really surprised how the GoPro managed to get decent detail in the sky as well as the main subject. The pic taken where my daughter is photographing the fungus is using the GoPro on an old broken fishing rod and simply telling the camera to take a photo. snatcher
Great photos Jon. Loved it around the Daintree area when we were up there. Did you see any salties when you were there ? I was always mindful of them when fishing around the Port Douglas area !!! I photographed this fellah about 1 mile upriver from Port Douglas. He did not seem too happy to see us ha ha. We leave the UK for oz 06 Feb and will be there for 3 months. Staying with our daughter in Warriewood, near Mona Vale. Bring it on. http:// John
