frankS
Hi and welcome to the site, hope you have along and enjoyable time here. The outfit you have chosen would be a great combination, extremely light that you could fish for hours without your arms dropping off ( depending on what you get on the end of the line ) and more importantly extremely tough and robust. I would personally ( IF I could afford such an outfit ) prefer a reel with a little more line capacity, go the 4 . not going to suggest an alternative here as it may confuse the issue. Although Gloomis suggest these rods are a spin type rod I would like to have a try with them with a overhead reel such as the LTD 15 or similar. Don't know what size stripper eye this rod has as I can't see a photo of it anywhere but all other eyes look like they would be suitable for overhead reel, and if need be I would fit low seat stripper eye to suit. But that's just me. Would suggest the outfit would suit Kings, Snapper, gummy's and light tuna etc. Frank Edited March 8, 2019 by frankS

kingie chaser
Glad you made a decision. Have you been fishing with it?? If you have maybe you could add it to the brag mat or fishing reports!
