Bow aspect

Hello people.

Just back from maiden voyage on my new 4.9 Quintrex Fishabout with 75 etec on the back. Anyone out there have this set up as I find it rides alot higher at the front compared to my 2004 Quintrex 5m Coastrunner. No matter how trimmed it seems to sit fairly high at the bow. Is this just a case of getting use to a different style of hull compared to the old one. It seems to handle and goes ok, appreciate any feed back.

Many thanks.

Check that the cavitation plate is level with the keel of the boat. run a straight edge of sorts along the bottom of the boat and the cavitation should follow the same line. Approximately it can be 25mm either way but no more. you may need to adjust the trim/tilt till you line up straight edge with cav plate. If your motor is too high or low there are holes that you can adjust motor to get right height.
