Killemjohnny
Hey guys, just wanted to know if it’s possible to target trevally at night time? I’ve caught em during the day. But never during the night. Seen some videos were people do. But never in my limited personal experience. sorry if this a dumb question. tried to search something but couldn’t find anything here. wazatherfisherman
Hi Killemjohnny- there are no dumb questions about fishing- just things yet to be learned and this forum is the best place to ask! We used to get heaps of them at night, both off the rocks and in Sydney Harbour, especially Sow and Pigs reef. Look up "Reminiscing-Silver Trevally" in search engine
dirvin21
I've caught them at night especially around marina lights where the bait is schooled up
Killemjohnny
🙏🏽🙏🏽 Cheers for the replies! Definitely has added to my curiosity and gonna be one of the species I wanna try to target the next night I go. 4 hours ago, rickmarlin62 said: Caught a fair few while fishing shallow spots outside for bream I was thinking that one day it’d be a bycatch when having a flick for some night time bream. IMy guess is that they just don’t stay around places i fish at night 😂😂 3 hours ago, wazatherfisherman said: Hi Killemjohnny- there are no dumb questions about fishing- just things yet to be learned and this forum is the best place to ask!
