Dancindan
Hey guys, I recently bought a 2nd hand boat and trailer and after the first time in the water, I noticed the wobble rollers seem to have left rubber marks on the hull. I'm guessing they are just old (2007 trailer) and need replacing? Anyone have this happen? What to do?
antonywardle
what hull type and what color rollers? Red usually for FG, Blue for Alloy and black, I'm not sure about Sometimes the wobble ones are grey. They are pretty easy to replace. Just a split pin Edited December 31, 2019 by antonywardle
Dancindan
It's a fiberglass hull and current ones are grey, they just seem to be falling apart. Is it easy enough to change myself?
antonywardle
very easy. They are just held on by a split pin usually. Take some spare ones, figure out the replacement rollers and some plyers and then the net time you launch, pull one off and replace it. Maybe look at youtube
frankS
They usually have a spring behind them that are gal but still rust out. I have heaps of 2nd hand grey rollers and springs here if you want some cheapies, used but still usable. PM me if interested I live in Berala.
