Laurie stageman Posted April 28, 2020 Share Posted April 28, 2020 Good afternoon all im a newby i have a queztion in regRds to boats does anyone know the name of the old style trim tabs that were found on the older bertram 30 cabins these actuators are hydraulic made out of copper tubing with a brass plunger with o rings the tab is stainless i had them on my old 16 foot and now have them on the 18 foot when i got them they came with two mechanical winders to lower and raise them i fitted an insta trim pump to them Im trying to find out the name of them and if there are some still about cheers laurie Plunget Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
tryhard Posted April 28, 2020 Share Posted April 28, 2020 Could be a Trim Master setup - I am just guessing. Trim Master went out of business quite a few years ago. You could try contacting International Marine in VIC. They might be able to tell you what the standard fitment was when the boat was built....I have had mixed success finding info on Bertie's and Caribbean's over the last couple of years. You could also try one of the American boating forums, there is a bigger brains trust available in the US by virtue of their population no's. Grab a couple of photos to put up too.
