nutsaboutfishing
Went out for a flick today on a falling tide. Generally I prefer a rising tide and with my record of donuts past few outings I wasn’t expecting much. But I reckon as long as you’re fishing you’re in with a chance. First 90 min produced a couple of hits but no hookups. Suddenly I felt weight, a lot of weight. I was chasing bream and on my 1-3 kg rod i could tell this was no bream. With the drag singing, my first thought was possibly a small king. After an intense fight a landed a 37cm trev. Boy they give a good account of themselves.
