Fishing Port Hacking on Sat 28/11/2020

Greetings Raiders,

I'm new to boat fishing, so far can launch and retrieve and other basics 😅

I was planning on hitting Port Hacking this Sat, but weather forecasts predicts around 34 degrees max and 20-30kmh winds.  My plan was to fish from early morning till 11am within the enclosed waters.

Is it a good day to be fishing? If it was any top hints for that area? where to fish? I would target Flathead with soft plastics and pillies.

Thanks !

Any day is a good day for fishing, as they say a bad days fishing is better than a good day at the office

As for the weather, well that's all about you own comfort level & safety of course.

But know what is coming with the heat this weekend if it were me I'd be fishing the early morning preferably.

Check out the reports area, it can give you an idea on where to head.

Hi KanTec,

My advice would be to get out very early, it will be extremely busy on the Hacking over the weekend.

Where are you launching your boat?

Cheers,

BD

Hi BD,

Thanks for the advise, it was busy every time I went there, I launched a couple of times from Wally's Wharf, got some luck near the heads within the port.

I have to say the Ramp is not as easy as Botany bay's big ramp, but did the job :)

Cheers
