After they die I'd imagine they would lose all their colouration & just blend in with the rest of the baby occy? I am suprised about the Aus gov dept, they will enforce food recalls on specific branded products pretty quickly usually if they have proof. Sorry for getting off track Scratchie! No, because they are "processed" Australian Quarrantine don't want to know about it, if they were "fresh" imported, it's a different matter, they do all look the same when tenderised and marinated in a bag, it was pretty dicey at the time, anyway, back on the Goby trail. Noel. Well there you go !! I have learnt something new today by reading these posts, always good to learn something new. In the past I always thought the Blue Ring Octopus was Vanimous but not Poisonous , not that I would ever want to eat on in any case. I thing you would have to eat part of the venom sack to get the poison. ( bit like a toad ) Your son was both very unlucky and lucky at the same time. They do recalls on frozen imported berries from time to tome that have listeria etc. Anyway glad he is ok. Yes back to the Goby
