Bluefin - what's the overall length of that fly and what hook size have you tied it on?? I imagine it wouldn't be all that easy to cast as it would catch a lot of air. bluefin Posted December 29, 2005 Author Share Posted December 29, 2005 (edited) This latest batch were tied on 1/0 stainless forged hooks, they are around 75m/m long, depends on how I trim them! They cast ok, most of the time I'm chasing Tailor with them and distance/ accuracy isn't an issue. They realy flash and look great in the water. A great exciter lure! I have also trolled them. especially on 1 kg line, on heavier line you can add a 000 or 00 shot sinker right on top of the fly to get them lower in the water.
