Help finding yakka’s in Cowan creek

Hey raiders,

New to the group and can I say the wealth knowledge shared here is invaluable. 

I was wondering if you could help me out with some live bait spots in Cowan creek?

I know you can get them at west head but being a 3.5m tinny it can be quite treacherous if the swell and the weather isn’t playing  nice! I usually launch from parsley bay ramp.

Im going back a while, but most of the bays contained Yakka along the rocky shorelines.   Grab a few large potatoes and a scaler and burley with potato scrapings !! Prawn or fish for bait small hook.

Parsley bay in the moorings.

Berley up, Run a small green glowstick about 50cm above your hook.

Thanks yo_jono, didn’t they would be up that far. Definitely a lot safer there.

yakkas all the way up to Bobbin Head as long as their hasnt been a lot of rain

You can get them in wharatah bay, they are everywhere, just anchor up at least 10 meters from the shore and berley up and they will come within 5mins in the dozens
