Pongrass boat

Hi everyone, i'm new on the forum

I have a pongrass 1974 boat 5.03m with a 90 hp mercury 2 stroke, i want to know the model of the boat and his weight. And if can i put a 115 hp 4 stroke ?

Might pay to check the weight of a 115 4 Stoke before lashing out, that old Hull was never designed for that kind of weight, just for kicks, find the weight of your current motor, then the 4 stroke you're interested in and add weight right in the motor well to make up the difference, and then you and your mate stand down the back and see how it floats.

I don't think the Surfmaster had that windscreen, but then, maybe in the later years before they fizzled out they might have tried to jazz them up a bit.

I think it may be a Surfmaster. That screen is home made, and not a very good job at that.
