Merry Xmas all I'm wondering if anyone has had any success with squid around the car ferry and marina

Never tried, but there is generally plenty of bait around the marina area, so maybe you're in with a chance.

For me, I'd be more inclined to chase mullet and garfish in the marina/boat ramp area. Using bread for bait. If you don't keep the bait high up enough in the water column, then you might end up with pesky legal bream!

Merry Christmas!

I fish Berowra alot, 9 times out of 10 I put the boat in there and just motor to my chosen fishing grounds.

Bait around the marina is plentiful.. Gars, yakkas and mullet.

I know alot of the locals and a few swear there has been squid up there before, others reckon they are dreaming! I have never seen it personally and stick to using herring for most of of my live bait needs.
