lastworm
This trip has been a long time coming. Between lockdowns and all this rain, this is the first time I’ve not started fishing from September. I headed out to a not so local but regular spot for myself yesterday morning. Was on the water by 5:30am, and it was chocolate brown and not looking promising at all. My regular creek was running clear into the main arm of the river, so I thought I’d give it a shot. After a few small fish it was looking promising. Managed a nice 35cm forker just after 6am before heading back out into the main river and getting countless small fish and a 30cm forker. Caught a heap more smaller fish before heading home sunburnt but very satisfied. All fish were caught on the surface, it’s the only way I fish for bass. I have issues. 😂
Yowie
Good work. They do fight on light gear as I found out with Pickles a few months ago. First time on bass, used live prawns and they were grabbing all and every prawn dropped down to them.
