Sounder Problems.

G,day Fishraiders.

I have a Navman 4200sx and am recently experiencing problems in the the unit wont give accurate speed and water temp, E.G i can be sitting dead in the water and the sounder is saying that I'm cruising at 35Knots, or the water temp is 93 degrees. Depth seems to be OK.

Any one had and been able to rectify thess problems.

35 knots with the engine not running sounds like good fuel economy to me!!!

I'd give navman a call, sounds like your sensor is gone "ding"

Most of my sounders have lost temp and speed over time (navman, JRC, Koden)...dunno know what it is, but they always seem to run out of huff for me (I use the gps for speed and my big toe for Temp now)

Thanks coach, I'll give Navman a ring, " you know I have a GPS and did'nt even think to use it for the speed"
