Any help would be appreciated 2 different environments Leon1234. Australian Salmon are a saltwater species best caught from beaches. There are numerous beaches on the coast of Tasmania. Atlantic Salmon and Trout are freshwater species and you will find them in the rivers and dams which occupy the central mountain region of Tasmania. If you haven't targeted these species before you need to do some online research to get information on how and where to catch them. You may also need a fishing license for Tasmania. The Derwent River is a great place to catch Bream and Flathead and it is where Hobart is located.
