Maybe check on the fish before taking them as to what they are, they could be poisonous or a protected fish which may land you in big trouble, Sweep are OK and not protected or poisonous. 0 noelm Posted January 7, 2023 Share Posted January 7, 2023 Really big ones used to be very common out on "The Banks" off Greenwell Point, they used to be a pest when Snapper fishing, ones around 1kg were kept for eating if Snapper were scarce.
