lostincable
Bought a second hand boat from a dealer. Within 6 weeks had a major failure. Boat was advertised clearly with new motor and drive. It had 70 hours on it and everything was installed about 6 months before we got it and it has warranty but the failure I am being told is not a warranty job from mercury as drive had water in it. Anyone gone down the path of consumer guarantee and has any words of wisdom as to how and when it applies for boats from a dealer? Everything online is a bit unclear for boats so interested to hear others experiences. Thanks.

BaitDropper
I personally, would be going back to the dealer and asking the question. Was it up to date with the servicing ?? Have you had a quote or looked at it and see what's involved ???
