volvo outdrive

Hi I am look for some advice my outdrive is a volvo duo prop and when I put it in neutral it is fine for a short while and then it starts to shudder and seems to go into gear but not fully then if I move the control leaver to reverse and then forward it stops and then it will do it again in neutral after a short while .

 

ANY HELP WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED

Adjust cables  they can stretch it must be sitting very close to either forward or reverse  get another person to hold props and turn them move throttle handle back n forward tosee which one you are closest to  adjust back to centre
