Rebel
Hi All, Has anybody used these swivels. Are they ok for rock / beach fishing ? I am interested in sizes 6 & 7. Cheers.
Green Hornet
I haven’t used that particular brand, but all the crane style swivels I’ve used are good and I wouldn’t mind betting that most brands are produced in the same factory. From the popular, more expensive brands to the eBay cheapies, I can’t tell the difference. Just don’t buy the small, ball bearing swivels, thinking they’ll do a better job. The smallest grain of sand or dried out salt will render them useless. I made that mistake years ago.
noelm
Yep, beach fishing I just use cheap swivels, even the biggest Whiting is not going to break even the cheapest swivel! High strain game fishing is a different thing altogether.
Rebel
They are not ball bearing swivels I am happy with the ones I have from the guy in Victoria, but you have to keep up with the times. The reports I have seen on NT swivels is ok.
