Havent been out for while so thought i would give the tinny a bit of a test run and go for a fish. Left at 10.30am as the kids had all slept in (not a good start) First place was to drift around balmoral and after covering close to the whole area including between the boats on worms and pillies i got zero bites… son was determined to catch squid but that was no go around the weed beds either. i guessd all the fish had moved to deeper waters and sure enough as soon as we moved to the deeper parts near chinamans beach we started catching a few bream (legal size) and a few snapper undersize. Only kept a couple legal size and then on the way back to Roseville tried a few other spots but not much happening. Anyway good to get out and least i know the boats running well.
