Brisbane Waters Crab Fishing

Hi members,

I am planning to go to the Central Coast with my Wife to do some crabbing land based. I have never done this before and I really don't know where a good spot land based where my Wife and I can catch a few Blue Swimmer Crabs.

I am aware that traps and pots are banned in Brisbane Waters only line and baited hook is allowed to get them.

Could someone point me in the right direction where a nice, relaxing land based spot will yield a few Blue Swimmer Crabs.

no, nothing. Thinking of heading to the central coast and try my luck hand lining there.

East Gosford (the entrance road) heading north go over punt bridge small wharf and boat ramp left hand side. Fish anywhere along the shore casting towards mangroves other side, Fish for mud crabs
