Grant94 Posted February 4 Share Posted February 4 Hi All, Im heading Lake Conjola in mid March this year, what's the fishing like at that time of year? (Ill be in a boat). Are the flats worth fishing? Better in deeper water? Any help would be awesome. xerotao Posted February 6 Share Posted February 6 Cant help with the fishing there. But i have been earlier this year. We anchored around the steps at night near the caravan park. Turned on my headtorch and had a look around, and there was a freakin head just sticking above the water looking back at me. Yelled at my wife to have a look but it dipped underwater. noelm Posted February 6 Share Posted February 6 Water will be still warm in March, should be Whiting on the flats and beach, Flathead lurking around any drop off or weed bed edges. Pump some Nippers or get some Beach Worms for best results.
