phild
Bump, I got it completely wrong the first time Good place tp catch bream, flatties from the sandy side, tailor occasionally and trevs occ as well and of course the various rock sp. IMO there are much better King spots to hit, like middle head, bluefish point, clifton gardens etc.
Alex
My cousin and i have had really good success there with flaties and bream. A couple of times we have seen awsome schools of pelagics just out in front. But they just seem to far out from the ledge for any kind of effective assult on them. Plus it's a bit of a hike in, and in the early morning there are big spiders in webs all over the track that you can't help but walk into. Early morning high tides also cover alot of the rocks there. barrykrocker
I tried it out yesterday but the wind was too ferocious to do much, the highlight was seeing a fairy penguin chase pilchards
Alex
cool,, that would have looked awsome in the water. One other thing i can remember from the point, is that if you are using dead baits, as the morning turns into day, the toads move in, and there are plenty of them there to pinch the bait.
