Boat parking/storage

Blade

Recommended Posts

Hi Raiders,

Any suggestions on where I can park/ store my boat.

Boat is 7.2m total on trailer length.

Driveway is too narrow and the street is also a bit narrow hence looking into other options.

Ideally would like to store it as close to the water as possible in either the Sutherland Shire or Botany Bay areas.

I am open to a berth or mooring just not sure on the costs and if my boat could be antifowled etc.

Thanks in advance

join South Sydney amateur fishing club, they have selective boat storage on their property at Chifley not sure they will have space but worth a try.

Have you looked at one of the secure storage companies like kennards etc ?

Hi XD351 had a look at a few but they all seem to be either very expensive or quite far out of the way. Are there any that you can recommend, if so please message me.

Thanks Frank, I believe there is a long waiting list. But it looks like a great clud.

Part of the expense is insurance - mostly public liability and to protect themselves if your boat burst into flames and burns the place down . unless you have a friend or relative that will store it for free every option will cost you $$$ . Can’t recommend any , just noticed a few had boats parked in them .

A mooring or better still a berth is fine if money is no object. Especially the latter - you can just rock up and untie the lines (well there's a bit more to it). Might set you back $700 a month for a berth. You won't need an expensive tow vehicle if you are happy to be limited to one port.
