spraka
Hey All. Going to be going to Gunnamatta Bay Baths to do some wharf fishing this weekend and wanted to get some advice on my approach. The plan is to get there right before the tide comes in, in this case around 2pm and start to burly. My goal is to target bream and trevally until sunset then switch to catching some Yakkas, my questions is when would be a good time to catch flatheads and snapper? Also are slimy's something I'm able to target during the winter? Thanks everyone
sashkello
Flatheads can be caught at any time really. All of that fish is absolutely catchable during the light, but certainly sunset should be the most active period. I've never targeted slimies, but a couple of weeks ago caught several of them as a by-catch when stocking up on yakkas.
