Basil D Posted 8 hours ago Share Posted 8 hours ago (edited) Hello again Radiers went for a fish with my mate Chris again south of Sydney to fish for snapper again it is not called red October for nothing , went to 55meters, using soft plastics on a beef stick rod , 7 foot with soft plastics, nuke chicken glow zman with 1.5 ounce tt jig head, 40lb braid, 30lb leader, and the rest 6fot rods with the same set up lines , used gangled hooks with glow skirts on top of the hooks and ball sinker to the hook with fresh pillies , got to our spot on crack of dawn and got most fish by 9am, Chris got his the first fish and a mako took its tail off chasing the snapper to the boat, got even with him as he got too close, gaffed him through his head and said your coming home for dinner mate! fished till midday before heading back with smiles and singing all the way home smashed this morning but still went to work, got home midday for a feast cook up cooked mako souvlaki and cooked with the snapper on a charcoal bbq enjoy the pics Edited 8 hours ago by Basil D 3 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
