  1. ha dangas its good to see the bay fishing so well,took the young ones out last monday and my daughter must have caught about 20 trevs all under, but to our surprise it stired up a few kings they were attacking the trevelly, we ended up with 3 around 70 and one snapped rod.havent fished the bay for a while but thinking its starting to come good.anyway well done.catch many and let just as many go...............
  2. ha fellas one good point is the bait,u can't go past fresh squid dead or alive.fished jb last weekend for some nice kings and found that at a certain time they where coming on the bite 2.30pm but untill that time we would only hook up on fresh squid.dead squid that was not cleaned but laid out and cut into rings, ink, guts and whatever was in them,it seemed the more ink that came out of the bait when droped in the water the quicker the hook up.any way, catch many and let just as many go...good luck all
  3. how u doin hype,should have seen u out there today but got a case of may sleepin seeing its my first day off in a while.but was happily woken by my 3yo running around loving the sound of his own voice at 6am.good to c your still doin your thing.keep up the good work.c u out there soon............

  5. well done hype, mate u got botany sussed.u the man.been fishin other bays north and south and havent been doin much better.had a good run in jb but not as good as u.keep it up and hope to c u out soon

  8. was out friday arvo trolled around nth head to catch some bonnies,a frigate and a rat bout 55 on a 2500 reel witch was very exciting.but the main attraction was the amount of whales jumping,tail flaping etc it was amazing.never have i been priviledged to see such an awsome sight simply breath taking,have to say was touched and cannot believe people hurt these majestic animals.what a great island we inhabit................catch many all and let just as many go

  10. u guys have got it right,it's not all about catchin(but that adds to the fun)its about getting on or next to the great water ways this great country has to offer....
  11. well done nathen.it is great to see those guys doin their job and catchin those walies.they just dont get it, fishin is an art and a skill and most of all fun for the whole family.let them go i say the fish that is,who likes to clean fish anyway

  16. well done lines nice catch.go up that way myself afew weeks of the year camping great spot.did u see the little fire boats shed and warf,a mates dad fishes for blackies off it and does quit well.one went nearly 1.5kg.dont tell anyone....

Hi all,just to mention went down the coast on the weekend fished off murrys and around the island,was surprised to see schools of slimys everywhere.had the wife and kids onboard the new tinny and we had a ball.we seen seals,dolphins all having a feast.trolled some slimmy lookalikes and got some nice bonito to about 2kg,it aint often that the kids get tired of catchin fish.all in all great weekend wish the kids sports had another weekend off.anyway all, catch many and let just as many go....

  19. hi fellow fish finding fanatic's.also had time down jb the last week but am glad to say that it seems that the worst of the weed is on the norht west side.fished vincentia(collingwood beach) 4 some nice bream,whitting and also some dart.water wwas beatiful swam most days with kids.best family holi had in a while...anyway if anyone gets a chance to visit done there,u can pump some nippers in the creek between husky and vincentia only east of bridge and try mos5t places for some good fish.JB has to be one of the best places on the east coast.catch many let just as many go....................

  21. hi everyone,just a little post.went out on sundeee,bit choppy and very windy.trawled to first fad off botany 4 zip kept going to 2nd fad(sydney wide)hooked 1 nice one 900 plus dicided pull up lures and bait fish.drift was rather fast so used heavy sinkers which actualy worked sorry no photos, still workin out how to use modern tech..get in to em all and enjoy...p.s 2nd fads got some nice fish...oh to the bloke in the 5m and under old thing your crazy.or just love fishin to much
  22. was there this week got 3 to 40kg and 2 alby bout 8kg on tues and they were about the only fish caught very slow.saw a leuva or something about 112kg looked like a cross between dolphin fish and snapper very rare they were saying,anyone ever heard about it.i think thats it name
