Great report and love the pics. I don't know what's bigger the Thumper Bream or the smile on your son's face. That's what's fishing's all about. That's an awesome catch you got out there, were they all on bait or did you throw some lures around too. Cheers ACIMA

Hi I'm heading upto Queensland and staying at Tangalooma Dolphin Resort on Moreton Island for a few days from the 26th of Feb. Just wanted to know if you can fish anywhere along the beach or if the resort has any charters. I saw that they had some tinnies you can hire but don't know how far away you can take them. If anyone has been there before I'd appreciate any feedback. CHEERS ACIMA

Hi Seriola, I have caught some squid in the Hacking around Deer Park and some small ones around my aunties jetty in Dolans Bay at night. I would like to help you out more, but I too would be interested in any pointers fellow fishraiders are willing to share.

Cracker Croc dick. You know your gotta good size croc when it's body is as wide as it's head. What were the measeurements and did you let her live to fight another day.

Great report Rob and the pics are gold. You did well getting that back to the launch spot. It looks like Sandra's got a bigger smile on her face than yours, I guess it was because you were exhausted from screaming Wahhooooo all the way back. Bet your son was proud and told all his mates at school. Nice Hobie setup too. Might see you out there one day.

I feel your pain Frankie. Lost a couple of fish right at the boat myself so I know how frustrating it can be, at least you got to see them and keep your lures. Not bad for 2 hours though.

Well done Dragtester nothing better than breaking a drought. Especially when you can take home a good feed and still release some of the smaller fish. What were you using to catch these lizards.

Hi Greg Great post and pics. Yourself and Anja should be proud. There's nothing better than seeing your kids enjoying themselves no matter when or what their doing. I only hope my girls will be able to experience that pleasure of landing their first cracker bream when their a bit older. Looks like you've got yourself a nice looking rig there to.
