Went out today Jigging Long Reef for the first time. All in all a very quick and successfull trip, there were a lot of boats out there. Ended up with 6 legal kingies and a few bonito. Came home and cooked one Kingie and fed the family, all by midday. what a meal!! Cant put photos on for some reason.

Sounds like an interesting Day. Lucky it ended well. The kingies were on today at long reef!!

Very brave in the cold. I had to pull out the ski gear this morning when I headed out!!

Im new to the site and was hoping I can write something positive today!! Went down to Bellambie this morning hoping for some big Reds (weve had a few 2-6 kilo over the last couple ofmonths). Tried about 12 known spots that we normally fish (a fe around the hump), at varying depths and locations. To my dissapointment, came back with no reds and we could not escape the Jackets everywhere we went. Whats the trick for the leather Jackets, they are even attacking the braid lines and wrecking a lot of my gear. At the end of the day, saw a few whales and got to explore a few new spots.
