  4. Hi Guys, Had the same problem with a seal at Jibbon bommie yesterday staeling my hard caught snapper. It sure was a race to get the fish into the boat, you win some you lose some. Squidy
  5. Yeh, Mark is spot on. It's a long walk back up the hill espically if your carrying anything. Squidy
  6. Joined the masses out at Browns yesterday in search of gold, with the result being one small fin on the troll about 5nm north east of the mountain in 23.4C water temp. As luck would have it just as we finished having a bottom bash and was about to head for home had a good size (about 100 - 110kg) stripy swim around the boat. Just watched as this magnificant fish had a look around. Did anybody find yellowfin in numbers and size yesterday. Squiddy
  7. Went there Monday morning. Nothing to report
  8. First post here on Fishraider. Had a short session on Botany Bay last night with a solid result. 2 Jewfish (76 & 60cm) both caught on squid and 1 flathead (60cm also) caught on live yakka. All three fish were caught during the last hour of the run out tide. Water temp fluctuated between 19.5 and 20.1 degrees. Sure beats watching the crap on tv. Squidy
