  1. Yeh Papas, psyched buddy! Yeh Papas, psyched buddy!
  2. G'day Rob, looks bigger in the photo than she is, but well over 1m and around 12kg on estimation. No scales on the boat and my measure finishes on 90cm.
  3. HI Raiders, Out chasing Jews last night a couple of km's offshore. Bang Bang, got some solid Jews on live slimies! Warm water is back and so are the JEWSSSSSSSSSSSSS! A couple of heavy stinky bastards! Who said Sydney is not an amazing fishery? Yew! !!! Butch
  4. Not too bad on the downrigger, but better just anchored up with strips. Big bait = big fish, so sometimes you need to preserve through the rats with little strips, but Ive landed fish 110cm plus on strips. Lots
  5. ok brother, maybe Tuesday night next week?
  6. Yeh a few reds brother, we landed a 5,2kg 3 weeks ago, but haven't chase em since. Butch

  8. Hey Papas, nah bra, squidding outside legend. haven't tried squidding inside for months, probably should give em a crack! How's your Jewie exploits? Yew!
  9. Shit loads of Amberjacks, Samson Fish, but the XL Kings are spaced!
  10. HI Raiders, Been some solid hoodlums off Sydney this week. Hard working finding squid, but every squid was stripped up and produced! Caught our bag limits of SAMSON fish and some HOODLUMS! On another note, me and my legend son have been chasing mullet in the lake for snapper baits! A lot of fun!
  11. Hi Raiders, Good to see the trag everywhere at the moment, on the Trag grounds, Snapper grounds and even the Jewie holes! Yew Butch
  12. HI Squidy, couldn't fish the comp as I had my 3 year old all weekend... Yeh some of the crew caught some stonkers. Plenty of fish compared to last year's weigh in... With the Trag, they were no where near this level over winter, the odd fish. Once that water hits 19.5 they school up in numbers. We bag out in 30mins most sessions over Summer. Winter is nothing like that buddy! Here is the Snapper that won the weigh in part of the comp. Some solid fish on the catch and release part too! Butch
  13. Hi Raiders, Good to see the TRAG starting up offshore with the warmer water. Got enough this morning for a feed and left em biting, no berley needed, thick. Drifted up a couple of reds too coming in. Butch
  14. Thanks Ray, how are the Barra fairing up north? I notice Shane has been getting a few early Barra?
  15. Hi Buddy This a Sydney snapper, up around the 7kg mark, compared to the others, much bigger. Butch
  16. Hi There, For floater fishing I mean floating lightly weighted baits down a berley trail. Either bait or lightly weighted soft plastics. Butch! Yeh they aren't big, a couple of kilos...
  17. HI Raiders, Been floater fishing for some small reds off Sydney. Hasn't been as good a season for me as last year, however, getting a few before work. Butch
  18. Yeh bud, they get huge in Sydney, up to 20KG. This one isn't 20kg though, but still around 14kg.
  19. Yeh I am on ABC Radio champ, with Black Betty.
  20. Yeh big man, keen to get you and Chaim out in 2 weeks? Nice catch. where they caught out wide on reefs on in close? In close brother, shallow water, around 25m
  21. HI Raiders, Nice to see some good kings about during the 18 degree green water. Took a long time to get enough live squid, however, eventually had a bait tank full. Out the heads into the King grounds and they were on. First drop, got reefed by a solid Hoodlum, couldn't turn it's head locked up on 80lb braid & fluro leader. Ended up getting a few small ones around 80cm for the dinner plate both sushi and cooked. Butch
  22. G'day mate, Little bit of advice, pin that sand crab through the tail end of the shell and send out as a livie and hold on! Great bait and wont last long before it gets slammed! Butch
  23. Yeh thanks Mike. Lots of the local boys are slamming big reds, Mike Bonnicci landed an 8kg Red on plastics last weekend and Nick Clarke landed a 7.5kg Red. Game on!
