You think 12 mile be holding any kings or leathers still a problem? Current running?

Yea three round 60-80 range. As quick as we got them they went off. Plenty of schools of salmon but we're tough only getting one. We were in runabout runs on dreams. Need to get rid of the Leatheries somehow

I was out with you in 60 m off longy. I can confirm Leatheries. Did get a few mowies and surprisingly a couple of teralgin. There are some good fish there problem is dodging the plague!! What boat you in?

Was out today and couldn't get yakkas at balmoral For the second trip in a row? Do they bite better At high tide? Need another few spots. Previously caught Them no problems which converted to kings!!

Thanks mate don't think I can make it that far out. Considering going to port Stephens to try get a Long tail. Craving some line screaming. Any ideas or wether worth the trip? -

How far wide you getting them, my limit is 12 mile? Last Few trips via the syd fad not even seen much Bait!! Do I need to venture wider? -
Anyone heading out tomorrow from Sydney? Looking to get to 12 mile to get my first marlin!! I have some slimies and bonito caught in last few trips. What's the best way to use them? Any reports and anyone want to keep in touch? Last trip few weeks ago raised my first ever marlin but wasn't interested iny spread.

Yea water pretty good. Had a chronic chucker On board and even he made it. Wow flattys that Wide hey. Didn't think I'd get them too wide. Using Bonnies and pilli for bait. Was hoping snapper More mowies today but still seems slow.

Quick report. Out today from Roseville past the whales up to longy. Fished in 50-60m mark. One pig Fish. Moved to reef off deewhy. 3 mowies , couple Flattys and few nannygai. Water awesome flat But still cool ish at 17.8-18.2 degrees. Some bird Action around deewhy but nothing on the troll. Anyone else finding these areas slowish at the moment. Lucky to see a few mowies.

Sounds like my transom mount transducer will do the job. Anyone know best place To buy a 620 or if available the 627?

Looking at upgrading my ls4100 sounder but not sure if I get the 620 or wait for 627? Can I use the existing 50/200 transducer with the 620? Ls4100 easy to use and detect most fish so using these colour sounders would be like the blind being able to see?

What's the best reefs off terrigal to hit the kings? Avoca wide an option or are there some hidden Treasures around you need to hunt for? Anyone With some suggestions would be great.

Can't believe you got those fish so close to the heads What am I doing wrong last few trips been to 12 mile And back with striped tuna the best. Any tips?

Anyone got some ideas of charters on Oahu. Be there for a week in two weeks time. I am in contact with one charter but unsure of wether it will happen. Suppose to be a share but wants 200 deposit? Any ideas?

From the syd harbour fad what distance do you need to travel to get to 140m or better water for marlin etc? I get to syd harbour fad pretty comfortable and can make it to longy and back to roseville boat ramp with plenty room in the tank. How far should I travel past syd harbour fad? Want to get into some of these good fish while water is good and pretty new to getting wide. Without marks to work off there is a lot of water to cover !!!

Looking at the weather might wait till Monday now. Frustrating. Last trip at least threw on some wire leader and kept a few for a feed. Imagine how much lead is on the bottom of those reefs!

Yea just noticed sem to catch better fish with a northerly blowing wind and drift. Sick of leathers.

Might head out friday as the weather looks better. Anyone found drifting works better from north to south rather than from south to north?

Anyone been out on sydney reefs last few days? Last trip found hoards of leather jackets between good fish. Even got some kings but jackets were a pest. Looking to get out there Thursday/Friday.Painful having to re-rig and also lose braid and sinkers! Found moving around a bit you can get away at times from these guys. Anyone know if they hang around all winter?

Being getting a few flatys, mowies and the odd oversize snapper lately of sydney reefs. Havent come across many kings. Anyone got some info or gps to share. Willing to share info to help out. Being fishing mainly between manly and long reef 40-60m.
