Im running a 2-4kg sic stick pro with a 2500fi stradic with 10lb braid. I catch everything on it including rat's. LOTS OF FUN!!
-
If you use a freshwater line in saltwater what will happen and vise versa?
Thanks
-
Both look very nice, good job.

I do everything with it but probably flick more then anything.
But with the side console does it change how the boat handles, my biggest gripe with the tiller is that after adding up all the weight theres a good 200kg + from fuel, person, bait tank and motor. I also wanna move the fuel tank up into the front and turn the back into a casting deck with dry storage.
If any one can help with anything thanks!

All good ideas, one day ill go there for a flick

Is a 4.2m tinny to small for a centre console or would side console be the go. With the side console does it change the characteristics of the boat that much due to you still sitting right at the back?
Thanks

Only a 4.2m tinny
That sucks thou, its really awesome place but it makes sense
Thanks for the help

Planning on going out fishing tomorrow, what are some good places to go to catch flatty and bream and do i go at the top and fish the runout?
Thanks
-
For the record the rod is a 8" 6', and i think the weight is #5 / 6 ? And at the moment the target fish is trout...
Where abouts on the northshore is there to fly fish and what can you fish for?
I also like the idea of having the social for fly fishing!
-
Might have the chance to go fly fishing for trout at the end of the year so was just wondering what line i must get (got a rod and reel from my dad some serious amount of time ago absolutely awesome gear by the looks of it thou
Ive also got flys and that sorta stuff, some tips would also be great on general fly fishing i.e casting etc.
Thanks for the help

Hey Jono,
I have a friend with a 6m centre consul triumph with a 150 merc on the back. It's a poly. Is this the same thing you want some feedback on?
Mike
Yeah it is a poly but there will be a massive difference between 5 and 6m and the 75hp to 150hp
Thanks anyway.

Hi everyone just wondering if anyones had an experience with the triumph 170 cc/dc. Weather it be passenger, drive, fish. Just looking for some reviews on them.

Not to mention running your motor without cooling witch is not ideal

Just got back from the harbour and had an awesome days fishing!
6:30 ish
Slow start trying to get yakkas, as soon as i droped my line in had instant hookup for 2 yakkas but then nothing else for quite a while. Went for some squid and no go, wind was absolutely pumping!
8:00
Trolled the yakkas around and hooked up with a nice 80cm king (awesome afternoon snack).
10:00
Went for more yakkas, but ended up getting bream, flatty, whiting, squires and yakkas
11:30
Trolled the yakkas but due to the change of weather the kingies went elsewhere
Overall a really fun day out! Hopefully plenty more soon.
