  3. Hi Raiders, How all of you got a wonderful weekend with a lot of fish. I have bought a secondhand hydraulic steering and about to install it myself. I am running to the issue where to open the bleed valves. They have 2 plastic cover which are impossible for to pull out unless I have to cut them open in order to connect the hoses. Secondly, If I have to cut them to open the cover, I won't have anything else to replace these plastic cover. Please advise me if anyone has this experience. Cheers
  4. Hi, I did watch it. My one is difference brand name and setup.
  5. Hi Raiders, I just bought a second SeaStar Hydraulic Streering kit. Please advise me any tip or trick or help me to install this kit if this task require 2 persons. I have got some ideas from youtube already. What you get in return to help me. Free food/drink and become my friend with fishing trip on my boat. I will return this favor back (labour only) :). That is all I can afford at this moment.I live in East Hills area. Cheers
  6. Sad to hear the boaters who did not help you. I always try to help the unlucky people who are in the bad situation and that I call it BOATING and hope good karma will come.
  7. Hi MV, You are 100% right mate. I agree with you about oz plate boat. If I have that much of money I definitely go for the Kiwi plate boat or at least a custom build plate one. They are far more superior than Oz plate in term of design and quality. Cheers
  8. Thank you for your solution. Talking about this rig. The rig design to use worm hook/jungle hook. Not sure if it work on bait keeper hook.
  9. Same as Botany Bay. The water was very murky. Got none from 9am to 2pm.
  10. Update The tilt trim motor did not work. I have a very good friend who has knowledge about electronic/mechanic. He gave me a hand to take the tilt trim off the engine and opened it. It was a big surgery. We found out the "Up/Down" joint inside the motor got very high resistance due to corrosion. Somehow, the water got in there too (thought it was designed to be submerged ). We gave it a good clean up and it backed to live. Thanks for your advise Raider
  11. Good question. Please help me to find the spot too. Never catch any yakas there.
  12. Thanks not sure if it works on my engine ?
  13. Hi mate, I am taking my boat to my friend who is car mechanic this weekend and hope he can help. To find the issue.
  14. Thanks a lot. I had a look your link before. The link is about the hydraulic fluid issue. My issue now is the motor pump or the electrical issue. Will lets you know if I find out. Hope its a cheap fix or therwise $1600 is a pain in the ass.
  15. Hi Raiders, Last month my trim tilt stop working at middle to of the bay, It did not trim up or down any more. When I pressed up or down button, it makes a click sound. I thought the relay was faulty. I have replaced new relay today the same issue. Please see the 30 second clip below. Any idea ? Your golden knowledge is greatly appreciated. Engine: Yamaha 4 strokes. https://youtu.be/h-S9BDdJjuk Cheers

  18. Xsite at least you got a King, I got jack shit still lost my mobile phone tried to catch a little fish 8 years ago. The phone was new release and cost $1K, so hope you feel better now.
  19. No, You have not made any mistake. Just a look after it. It just my personal opinion. Jeffb5.8 is right "You picked the boat you like and once you get it on the water and the Sun is shining, the wife's laying out front with a wine and a book enjoying the water, your rod has buckled under the pressure from a nice legal king fish and all will be good with the world. " Enjoy your new toy and congratulation.
  20. If I have that budget I would put it on Kiwi or Yank made plate. Sorry OZ made plate is not up to my standard yet.
