  1. Gday , was driving along Garden st at Narabeen today and seen a guy having a flick in the creek that runs along Progress Park and was just wondering if anyone knows if it fishes well as there seemed to be a few fishy looking snags there?

  6. My budget has suddenly increased and the dilemma of choosing a rod is making me even balder (yeah yeah  ). I will be pairing it up with a daiwa certate 2000 and want to use it for flicking everything from plastics to blades and everything in between. (if there is such a rod)

$450 max is the limit and any feedback and expertise to help point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. I do understand that everyones opinion will differ but it all helps.

  7. what were u planning on using the rod for.......plastics obviously, what species??

G'day mii11x, i,m just looking for an allround good bream rod and i was just wondering how the td sols were.

I know alot of people have rods specifically for plastics , hard bodies and blades but i really cant afford more than 1 rod, so any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Cheers tangled1

  8. gday buddy,

i have a med light sol 1, bought it dec 08. it has served me well and highly rate this rod. the tip is quite stiff, so it doesnt take much to get a plastic to dance. being med light i use it for flatties and jewies and have had much success landing larger varients of these species. when i target bream i use a t series t curve 2-5 kg as this casts really light lures very well, both plastics and hard bodies at perch, and bream and whiting. i prefer it for these species as the tip is quite different in the feel.

this is just my opinion mate, hope this helps with your decision

    mick

cheers for the reply mick i had read something to that effect even with the type 2 but its good to hear that from someone who owns one, thanks mate

    cheers tangled1
