Just a quick couple of questions about fireline braid and fireline crystal. Whats the difference and whats better? Will only be buying 4lb if that helps.

Gee!! I didn't know about that one!! Was it the ABT Camden Haven Bream Kayak round?? My bream was 3rd biggest of the round & if I'd caught it the next day, would have won $100 as Boss Hog!! As it was, my friend Michelle from Lemon Tree Passage won the Boss Hog on Day 2, using a sammy & the topwater technique that I taught her!! So I 'sort of' helped with its capeture!!
he he If it is the Camden Haven Pic, I reckon should have rubbed the Zinc off my nose!!!
Better check out the mag tomorrow - I actually flicked thru the start of it today, but didn't check out the back section where the results are!!!Cheerio - hope to catch up with Michelle at Lemon Tree this weekend, if it stops raining!! Seems you Sydney folk have been really copping it!! Shame, as the tides were going to be brilliant for the next few days, including the weekend!!

It was a few weeks ago at North Avoca. Lost that blade to the dreaded snag fish yesterday!

Only managed this flatty this morning at Iron Cove, on a gold coloured big eye blade, still the peace and quiet was definitely worth it!
The only other thing biting this morning was a tiny whiting. So a slow morning, never the less something keeps me coming back and back and back still cant figure that out !!! LOL

Botany This Morning
in Saltwater Fishing Reports

Headed down to Botany this morning with no wind in sight. Was using a couple of different blades with no success. Rigged up a 1/8 jig head with a lobby and i was immediately on , a couple of dull head shakes and not much fight and i thought tiny flathead! Also managed to hook a decent size Tarwhine from what i could see,(they sure can pull , my drag was zzzzzing its butt off) on a 80mm bloodworm wriggler and before i could land it that jig came flying at me!!
The wind finally started to pick up from the south and the day was coming to an end. Still had a good relaxing morning i'm glad i mowed that lawn yesterday , now time for lunch and a couple beers!
