Gday i am probably going to purchase the trion and was just wondering if anyone has used the 1-3kg and if so is the tip soft and too floppy (as i have read a couple of reviews with it mentioned) or should i go the 2-4kg?
Thankyou in advance.

G'day tangled,
Pflueger Trion or Berkeley Dropshot are both fantastic value for money... both in the $130-$150 bracket and well worth considering.
Cheers, Slinky
Gday slinky, cheers for the reply just another qustion if i may, i checked out the trion rod and was kinda of getting talked into the medalist at 10 bucks cheaper. Just your thought on the two.

Had a late flick this morning(late being 7am) at Claire Point Woolwich, only had a couple of enquiries with the wrigglers & gulp grubs and nothing with the blades. Only managed this flatty towards leaving time as per usual , it was a cranky little fella , it hit the wriggler with a few head shakes and a little run. Used 1/8 jig as the current was very present this morn.
Here are a couple of pics.

Hit the water around 7am this morning with a mate of mine. No wind and no rain . Headed to the rip bridge to throw around some blades but to no avail. Decided to drift on the south side of the bridge just flicking s/p only to pick up a couple of undersized snapper and this toothy critter.
Decided to try another spot that i was told holds decent size flattys before heading home . Only managed this little breambo ( i think he was geeing me up about "the" spot)!
All in all it was a nice relaxing day!
