yer mate north avoca rock top spot!!! didnt get a chance to hit the beach tonight , but real keen 4 tomorrow night!!!! was out there around lunch time , nice big gutter out there that with the full moon and high tide around 11 ,worth a crack for shore! might dust off the jew rig and see what happens, phill

yer hi guys being a chief and working in alot of seafood restaurant around the place ill share one of the biggest sellers ever!!!!! salt and pepper squid ! we used to sell 50kg a week but ill do a 1kg recipe!! .1kg squid!love hawkesbury river personally, but what ever .1/2 table spoons lemon pepper (master foods) .2 egg whites, whisked just before soft peaks .2 kiwi fruit chopped .1table spoon chopped garlic .1/2 cup cornflour scour squid and add all ingredients,mix weell, leave to marinate over night ! dust in rice flour deep fry 1/2 minutes !! not much better! enjoy

yer mate been good! LOTS of tailor and bream quality fish too! mainly fish the south end , around the rocks "Flathead beach" is really good as well

tried some smoked Flathead and tailor a few weeks ago for the first time and WOW it was one of the nicest pieces of fish Ive had! real keen to build a smoker , Ive heard a old keg is good or a fridge? has anyone built one ?just after some tips on making one! thanks

fresh whole squid ,60 pound jinkai, 2 8/0-10/0's i like predators , i always use this rig (boat ,beach,land) i know when i go out i don't go to catch a 2 kg fish i always think big lol,but saying that even a 1kg soapy will swallow an 8/0 with ease! its good to be rigged right for when you do get that big fish, good luck

i noticed terrigal lagoon was open the other day and with all the rain yesterday there's a good chance! used to fish north avoca beach religiously,haven't been down there for ages ,been fishing pearl beach lately ,might head down avoca tonight with a few squid and give it a go , should be some big cutters

yer thanks guys ,the place Ive been fishing (Davistown) you can actually see/hear them,its a well lit estuarine system with strong tidal flow ,i have seen some monsters caught there one going 57cm, these blades sound the goods and will give them ago ,, cheers

well its EP season !only realy new to chaseing them,seems SP"s are the go!and i know they can be fussy little buggers , just wondering peoples favorite plastics and techniques,

should be a good season quality fish everwhere in my local spots !(central coast)
