  15. Very nice looking Jew. Parra river still fires up eh? Good to see. It's obviously healthier than it looks.
  16. Great report. Sounds like an awesome time was had by all. And a good feed for both families. You'll have to get your daughter to love filleting and cooking too - and you will be totally set. I can't get my 8 year old daughter to touch the bait - it's too icky for her - i'll keep trying though. The squeals and look on her face when we had a double hookup on EELS last week was priceless.
  17. That's a big barrel of a tuna! Congrats. And those MahiMahi look absolutely spectacular - even better on a plate!
  18. Superb Jew! And love the grin on her face .... it says it all.
  19. Cheers. Thanks for the tips. I wasn't expecting such a quick response. Might head there tomorrow if the sun is out.
  20. Good morning all. I am so glad I have found this forum. Can't believe it has take me this long. I want to take my daughter for a fish and am looking for some advice as to where a good landbased spot would be. I live in Caringbah so somewhere either in Port Hacking or Georges River / Botany Bay would be best. We want to keep it simple so a handline or a junior rod (she has a pink one). Main idea would be to catch SOMETHING. They will all go back so size will not matter. Action is better - I want her to love the experience. Are there any Fish / family friendly jetties etc around? Any other fishing teaching tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
