  1. Going down the south coast over easter and have some 6" sandworms to give a workout. Can someone tell me the best way to rig these up? I was thinking of cutting them in half and using a 1/32 jighead in them? Any suggestions or pictures of them rigged would be great. Cheers NAthan
  2. Sure is, its the bridge that goes over the cooks river
  3. Yeh i remembered your post and the one linked in my first post, i was thinking its gotta be what you were talking about Any chance there may have been something bigger chasing it????????????
  4. It actually looked like it was trying to get out of the water, only reason i could pick it up was cause it had run aground The little bugger was going crazy like it was having an epeleptic
  5. Yesterday my mates and i went to throw a few plastics around the mouth of cooks river and under the bridge around the pylons etc, whilst there we saw these fish travelling at speed through the shallows and into the channel. One of them followed my mates 2" minnow grub up to the surface but didnt hit it. While we were standing around talking shit i heard some splashing i turn around and heres one of them trying to swim up on to the shore, so i went and picked it up and my mate posed for a photo with a retarded look on his face. I assume its the same type of fish as mentioned in this thread?

  7. Any updates? What part of the motor is actually siezed?
  8. Thought we'd make the most of the last few days of daylight savings and go for a fish this arvo. Took my mate who has just started on soft plastics and was yet to catch a fish. Well after today he is convinced that the $80 he spent on his Berkley Dropshot and mitchell reel at the boat show was worth it 1st fish a nice fat bream within 10 minutes of dropping the line in. Plenty of taps here and there but no more hookups until just before we left when he hooked the flatty which went 56cm and weighed 980gm. No comments about his bogan Monaro shirt

  10. Darkness was upon us before we even knew it so we only got a short fish in of about 1hr and 20 mins. All up 8 fish hauled in, every single one a bream. 7 fish in the 15-25cm range and one i forgot to measure after we weighed it at 480gm, which was easily over 30cm. Until next time
